ED arrests AAP leader Deepak Singla following raids in alleged bank fraud case

Deepak Singla was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on Monday, officials said.

Deepak Singla and several others were arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on Monday in connection with a money laundering case, officials told ANI.

Atishi, along with Aam Aadmi Party Goa, alleged in a post on X that the BJP was using the Enforcement Directorate to target the party as its popularity grows in Goa. She claimed ED raids were conducted from early morning at the residence of Deepak Singla and homes of several volunteers, calling it an attempt to intimidate party workers and access the party’s organisational data.

Deepak Singla had contested the Delhi Assembly elections from the Vishwas Nagar constituency on an Aam Aadmi Party ticket in both 2025 and 2020. In 2024, the Enforcement Directorate had also carried out searches at his residence in connection with a money laundering investigation linked to an alleged bank fraud case.
